REMOTE LEARNING PROGRAM
With schools closing in the US due to the coronavirus outbreak, most American schools have switched to online classes. However, not all students have access to a laptop at home making remote learning unreachable.
I LOVE SKIN is working to provide laptops to low-income students who need it most in the New York City area. We understand the need is greater than ever. We will be accepting laptops and distributing them to students in need free of charge to them. Students will remotely learn using Google Classroom. Spectrum is committed to 60 days of free internet access to those in need. Help make information and communication technology accessible. No student should be denied learning.
VISION: Provide low-income students distance learning interrupted by Covid-19
MISSION: Promote digital inclusion by repurposing computing devices (laptop).
PURPOSE: Recycle laptops to give to low income students grade 7-12 in the NYC area donated by generous donors.
ABOUT: I LOVE SKIN believes in equal opportunity, technology literacy, and environmental responsibility.
